The Level of Moral Intelligence and its Relationship to Genders and the Educational Stream among High School Students in the North Area of Jordan Valley

Abstract: The present study aimed at exploring moral intelligence among high school students and the effect of educational stream and gender on moral intelligence the sample consisted of (408) males and females to achieve the objectives of the study, the Moral Intelligence Scale developed by Al-Naser (2009) was used after the validity and reliability were constructed Results showed a moderate level of moral intelligence in the total score and for all sub-scores for the domains except the empathy domain, which was high.

The Degree of Practicing the Learning Organization Strategies by Secondary School Female Principals in Taif

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the degree of practicing the learning organization strategies by secondary school female principals from the viewpoint of teachers in Taif. The study population consisted of the public secondary school female teachers in the academic year 1434/1435 AH. A simple sample of (671) teachers was randomly selected from the total study population of (2238) teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was used as a major tool to measure the degree to which female principals practice the learning organization strategies in Taif.

The Effect of Information Presentation Method, Information Kind and the Retention Intervals on the Ability of Recognition and Recall among Yarmouk University Students

Abstract: This study aimed at investigating the effect of information presentation method (story, picture), information kind (typical/ atypical) with the schema, and the retention intervals (1 h, 48 h, and 1 week) on the ability of recognition and recall among Yarmouk university students. The sample of the study consisted of (100) Yarmouk university undergraduate students in the summer term of the academic year 2013/2014.

A Structural Equation Model of Teacher Counterproductive Work Behaviors: Degree of Practice and Subduing Procedures from the Perspectives of School Principals in Muscat

Abstract: The aim of this research was to build a structural equation model that describes the counterproductive work behaviors (CWB) of school teachers from the perspectives of (131) school principals in Muscat. The findings included generating a structural model of (CWB) of Omani teachers within three dimensions: 1. poor adherence to work laws; 2. ill-relationship with colleagues and heads; and 3. hostility in the workplace.

The Effectiveness of two Types of Feedback (Recast, and Metalinguistic) on Improving the 8th Grade Basic Students' Performance in Arabic Grammar

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of two types of Written corrective Feedback: (Recast and Metalinguistic) on improving the students' performance in Arabic Grammar. The researchers constructed a test that measured the performance of the students in grammar according to Bloom’s three Levels: knowledge, comprehension, and application.The sample of the study consisted of (74) students. The students were assigned into three groups. The study was conducted as the intervention was administered in the form of (18) periods.

Exploring the Jordanian Gender Gap in a Large-Scale Assessment in Mathematics

Abstract: This study examined the Jordanian mathematics results in the 2012 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) with respect to gender differences. A total of 7038 Jordanian students (51.4% males and 48.6% females) took the PISA 2012 math test, where mathematics was the major domain of assessment.
