Critical Thinking Skills That are Included in the
Intermediate Stage Science Books Used in Public Schools
of the Kingdom of Bahrain
This study aimed at constructing a tool for measuring the
prevalence of critical thinking skills in science books; determining
whether such skills are included and sequenced in terms of theme and
frequency in science books of the intermediate stage in the Kingdom
of Bahrain; and listing classes in terms of frequency of such skills in
the science books.

Psychometric Properties of a Test and its Items According
to Rasch Model in Item Response Theory (IRT)
This study investigated the effect of multiple choice test
number of alternatives on the estimations of: a Person's ability, item
difficulty, and the information function of test and its items. To
achieve the study objectives, a multiple choice achievement test
consisting of 40 items in tenth grade maths was constructed.

Measuring EFL Teachers' Knowledge of Communicative Language
Teaching Approach and their Practices in the
Jordanian Public Schools
The purpose of this study was to measure the
English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers' knowledge of
the principles of the communicative language teaching
approach (CLTA) and the extent to which they apply it inside
the English language classrooms. The sample of this study
consisted of 144 (63 male and 81 female) EFL teachers who
were chosen purposefully.
